Chanukkah, oh Chanukkah, come light the menorah!

Chanukkah is the festival of lights, but more correctly it is the festival of dedication. What did we dedicate? The Temple! But the story is not that simple.

Homework

Some people think Hanukkah is “Jewish Christmas” because there are parties and presents. How are these holidays different from one another? Make a list of five characteristics for each holiday and how they are different from one another.
