Various Tuesdays
In-Person
Join us for informal learning sessions where we explore (and debate!) Jewish ideas about life. New topics at every session, from complex questions about God to creating a more loving world. This series is open to anyone age 13+ who is Jewish, wants to be Jewish, loves a Jewish person, or is just a little “Jewcurious”. No Jewish knowledge or experience required. Light refreshments sponsored by our friends at NCEJ.

Various Fridays | 6:00 – 8:30PM & Various Saturdays | 10:00AM – 12:00PM
Gather
Friday evenings include a catered indoor meal, followed by soulful acoustic melodies led by Robin Rio and words of inspiration with Rabbi Patrick. We light candles, say kiddush, and enjoy one another’s company. Plus, rabbi gives a dvar torah. Saturday mornings consist of a combined Shabbat morning service and Torah study, including a scrumptious bagel and lox brunch. Tickets are $19 per person (free for those under 18!). Check our calendar for upcoming dates.

Pop-Up Shabbat

Various Saturdays

Meet us for Shabbat morning and afternoon at your favorite farmer’s markets and festivals, including VA Pridefest and Carytown Watermelon Festival. We’ll bring a few folding chairs, bottled water, and lots of love. Rabbi Patrick offers spiritual wisdom. Come for a minute or stay the whole day!

Holidays

Various Times/Locations

The pandemic has not slowed down our celebrations! With holiday care packages, and virtual and in-person seders, our approach to holidays is bold, experimental, and inclusive. This is not your typical “synagogue” service—whether it’s Carytown Hanukkah, Passover Seder Dinner Theater, or Sukkot on the Balcony, our events guarantee fun, fun, and more fun.
