Holidays 7: Purim

Get out your groggers and hamentaschen, it’s time for Purim! While this holiday feels like Jewish Mardi Gras or Halloween because of the costumes we wear, Purim is actually a celebration of Jewish triumph over oppressive rulers.

Read the Purim booklet: http://www.interfaithfamily.com/files/pdf/Purim-booklet-readonly.pdf

Homework (Choose One)

Think about the story of Purim. What are three costumes you could make that would be connected to the actual story of Purim? Draw the different costumes and share them on social media.

Make hamentaschen! Find a recipe online you like, bake your cookies and share on social media.
