The Best Part of Kehillah Isn’t On the Calendar
Conversations. Connections. Community — no sign-up required.
At Kehillah, not everything needs to be an “event.” Some of the most meaningful moments happen when you’re just… with people. Folks gather to talk, eat, laugh, reflect, or just be together. Kehillah’s strength isn’t just in its services or events — it’s in the relationships that outlast them.
Current Groups
🍽️ Kehillah’s Older Group 🍽️
We’ve tried calling it different things, but Older Group just seems to stick. Once a month, a group of Kehillah’s older adults (singles and couples) gathers at a local restaurant in Midlothian. No program. No speeches. Just food, friendship, and familiar faces. Talk to Ray about it.
☕ Coffee with the Rabbi ☕
Exactly what is sounds like. Rabbi Patrick has open coffee dates around RVA — and you’re welcome to join him. It’s casual, feel free to bring your partner and friends. Just connection over caffeine. If it’s later in the day, then cocktails. Ask the Rabbi when he’s available.
How to Get Involved
No forms. No RSVPs. No announcements. There’s no master list, no Google Calendar, no tickets. You just meet someone at a Kehillah event, you get invited, and that’s it.
- Come to a Kehillah event. Any event. Shabbat dinner, torah study, a holiday…anything you want
- Ask about our different social circles. Someone will fill you in on the details. Simple as that.
- You get invited by someone who’s already part of it — often right at that Kehillah event.
